In the end, I think that we as humans, have not been designed to be monogamous, although there are definite benefits in monogamy. Being open about our needs and wants and being able to experience those on top of having the security and the special kind of a relationship with a specific person is, in my opinion, one of the best ways to maintain a healthy and happy relationship. Sexuality and how we view it, for the most part, is through the societal rules, which in most of our case, I assume, is related to the views of the early and many modern christians. And christianity, especially during the time of it's crusades and "cleansing" of the pagan ways from the people (religious genocide) was VERY dictatorial. Everything in your life was governed by the religious leaders and what they decided to be "morally acceptable" Sex positions and sexuality in general included.
