'I don't think that the American baby will understand'
That alone shows how much they actually know about the concept of how babies learn and what babies understand.
    She seemed serious about that
    My mouth just fell open...

And one of the things that is the most stupid about this is that consent just gets a whole different meaning and it actually takes down the meaning of consent, because you're gonna need to change the diaper anyways...
I was writing this down as it was playing, he just said it, but better 'so the babies no doesn't actually mean no'
    Well put

I am however very much in favor of letting children decide if they want a hug or a kiss or even a high five, for example for good night or a bye bye... I never put pressure on a child to hug me..
(when they're in the age they can actually decide what they want)

    But yeah, this is lunatic

  • Ask for permission if you want, but remember who’s the boss, if you don’t show some authority then how can the children be expected to follow your advices later? If you start giving children choices over their bodies such as this, you had better be prepared to step aside and not say a damn word when you catch them attempting suicide, cutting themselves, or starving themselves to death because after all, it’s their bodies their control right? Should we pause and ask if we can medicate them? Ooh, is it ok if mommy saves your life, does that suit you darling..?
@sup Yes, the world is becoming ridiculous

The idea of asking for consent for the most natural things seems to sexualize the purest relationship between a parent and a child which is crazy.

It is normal infant behavior to get uncomfortable at the most basic things like feeding or changing nappies. In fact, most babies cry when they are hungry or when a diaper needs to be changed which proves that these sjws are nothing but lunatics who love to get humiliated on public tv. The host did a fantastic job to keep a straight face.

Again, it is beyond me why a parent would ask a child for that. The world is not as bad as you think. But I guess everybody has different experiences therefore different opinions about it.

I wholeheartedly agree with you dude!

Being an Asian I bet you know why stricter parenting is important and why we need to stop adding a negative connotation to it. A sense of authority over the child is important (not to shape their lives according to your will but to help them make better choices with your experience) unless you want to detach yourself from them as soon as they turn 18 lmao.

Idk how it works in the western world and why living with your parents seems to be unnatural thing to them? I wouldn't dream about leaving my family.

@sup Exactly! And I didn't mean a parent hugging or kissing their child.. I meant me as an auntie or friend of the parents or whatever.. :see_no_evil:
